Welcome to an ever growing community of instructors who use, evaluate, and incorporate OLI materials into their teaching practice.
Request an OLI Instructor Account. An Instructor Account will give you access to our Course Builder application and all of our course manangement tools.
When requesting your account, you will be asked for the following information:
After we confirm your "instructor" status, we will grant instructor privileges to your account. Once you have instructor privileges, you will have access to our Course Builder application and all of our course manangement tools.
Look at the demo course(s). We will send you the demo Course Key(s) for your requested course(s) along with your instructor account confirmation. These demos allow you to experience the academic course as a student. This includes taking any of the assessments and assignments included in the course package.Â
Build your course. Using the Course Builder, you can create a customized course that fits your needs. Include the units and modules that you need, in the order that you plan to use them. Decide to offer the assessments as graded or ungraded activities (when applicable). You can also combine material from several course packages. See the Instructor Resources page for detailed information regarding the OLI Course Builder.

If the small maintenance fee we charge prohibits your students’ use of the courses, please let us know and we may be able to reduce or waive the fee - our goal is to support you and your students.
It is crucial for your students to have pertinent and correct course-specific information before they can begin accessing the course. Be sure to send each student information regarding:
