How do I get a Course Key?

Applies to: Students taking an Academic Course

Academic Courses require a Course Key to register. Each instructor creates a unique Course Key for his or her course. If an instructor offers multiple sections of a course, each course section will have a unique Course Key.

Step by step

  1. Contact your instructor. He or she will have the correct Course Key for your course section.

Tips

  • If you do not have an instructor, you may take the Open & Free version of the course.
  • Open & Free courses do not require a Course Key for you to register.
