Our design goal is to create a manageable, scalable, standards-compliant web presence that is visually appealing to our largest user-base (estimated as 18-26 year-old American students) while supporting their educational needs and those who support their learning.

In other words, we want to:

  • Support teaching and learning
  • Comply with W3C web standards
  • Promote a healthy separation of content, presentation, and behavior which in turn supports portability, accessibility, longevity.
  • Appeal to 18-26 year-old American students
  • Prepare the stage for internationalization
